Bauhaus in Weimar 1919–1923

In 1919, the Weimar State Art School reopened under the direction of Walter Gropius with a radically new approach to teaching and a new name: the Bauhaus. Four years passed before the first exhibition presented a new approach to art to an enthusiastic public and spread the school's ideas worldwide.
